Trident

With the improvement in the RFID chip manufacturing technology, the cost of each chip has been reduced due to which they are readily available to be used for all type of products in the retail industry. Considering this we have designed our RFID based self checkout systems called "Trident". Our solution makes use of simultaneous RFID tags detection all in a loop with the use smart scanning software & specifically designed RFID detection mechanism.

Delivering Seamless shopping experience

In-Store Cameras

Using Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Data Fusion across various cameras placed within the store. This central system communicates the data with the IOT enabled Gates once the shopper reach to the exits in order to make the final payment.1) On board cameras use computer vision algorithms and Deep Neural Networks to perform visual inspection of products being grasped and then placed in the cart during the shopping session. 2) Centrally fused shopping data linked with the entire shopping session is then broadcasted to the Gates where the shopper performs the final single scan and payment. This way shopping items are cross checked before the final billng.

Cloud-based Payment

Cloud Based Secure Payment Backend Micro-service handles the payment requests simultaneously and process them with minimal latency. 1) Biometric Authentication(Palm Vein, Face and Loyalty Card based depending on the client preference).2) Finally, the payment session is conducted securely & the receipt is dispensed or emailed to the shopper based on the selection.

Gate

These gates are like turnstile scanners and checkout modules , they are placed in the exit zones where the shoppers can perform the final single scan for all the items in the cart or shopping bags using RFID antenna array which is capable of iteratively scanning all the items present in the area of Interest. 1) The RFID Antenna, the array and combination of multiple antennas are used in such a way that they provide the full coverage for the area of interest where the trolley/bag is placed along with the shopper.2) Thereafter, the scanning module takes all the RFID signals and intelligently sorts them, match them with the list of items communicated by the store camera system.3) Finally, Palm vein scanner module that allows to provide authentication for the final payment
